Everything you can imagine is real

About image
I was born into a family of military doctors and spent my childhood moving frequently due to my father's job. In 1991, we settled in Sloviansk, Donetsk region, Ukraine. After completing my law degree, I worked in Donetsk until the outbreak of war in Donbas, which led me to move to Kyiv.

These experiences have greatly impacted my perception of the world and its values. While I have always been interested in art, it has only recently become a significant part of my life. In 2019, I graduated from the School of Contemporary Art in Kyiv and have since completed additional art courses to expand my knowledge and skills.

Starting from 2020 until 2022, I studied at the art studio under the guidance of Valentin Chornyi, "School of Composition," in Kyiv. During this time, I focused on studying art history, various artistic techniques, and approaches. During 2021-2022, I was a member of CUTOUT (Kyiv), the first collage studio in Ukraine.

Starting in the summer of 2022, I began studying graphic design professionally and am using my artistic skills to create conceptual and creative projects. Due to the war in Ukraine, I am temporarily residing in the United Kingdom. I wholeheartedly believe that my country and people will one day be free from the evil and cruelty of russian occupiers, and all those responsible for crimes against humanity will be justly punished, no matter how long it takes.

Glory to Ukraine!

Philosophy:
I believe that art is all around us; it fills our minds and propels us forward, helping us to notice and understand beauty or resist the unacceptable. It is an incredibly powerful tool for human thinking, possessing some of its best qualities. In my work, I explore colours and textures, and combining them is like playing a game, the main goal of which is to imbue the work with emotions that will resonate with the observant viewer, and at times, it will feel intuitive.
